Shauna Duffield graduated from cosmetology school in June of 1988: Simi Valley Cosmetology in California. She has a variety of outside training including a six week color specialist course in Redken. She was a Matrix color adviser educator for 3 years, appeared on the mid day make over show for Channel 12 news numerous times and has participated in a variety of run way shows. She specializes in long and curly hair and also has a deep passion for up-dos.

Becky Nance has been in the Valley since 1984 and has serviced the hair care needs of the East Valley since 1989. She graduated from Dobson High School as well as Cosmetology School on the same day. She became an assistant to a stylist for 2 years to gain experience in the industry and since then she has completed a six week course in a Redken specialist program, attended continued education classes and has built a supportive clientele in the process.

Each owner brings to the table a variety of talents, experiences and passions. They would love to welcome you into their salon and look forward to taking care of both you...and your hair.

Company History

After working together for one year,

they made the decision to take a journey to follow their dream.

That is when "A Shear Dream" became a reality!!

                                       "A Shear Dream" was founded in July of 2009
                           The business is co-owned by Shauna Duffield and Becky Nance
                                The two women have 20 years of experience as stylists
                                                and specialize in color services.
